The guys are feeling good about their liquor run
the girls are kinda flirting with the setting sun
we all kind of fumbled through the jitter bug
we were all powered up on some new upper drug
and everything was partying
everyone was pretty

the dancefloor was crowded, the bathrooms were worse
we kissed in your car and we drank from your purse
i had my mouth on her nose when the chaperon said we were dancing too close

In a feeble attempt at self-improvement here are some vague resolutions:
Be less critical of myself and others.
Try harder to save my warm fuzzies for the people that care.
Go on facebook less.
Finish the hundred most important books/movies.
Keep up a health regimen.
Keep in touch with my friends better. {Not just through facebook}
Speak my mind.
Be more pro-active.
Live in the moment. {Not for it}

Ashley: "Well, where do you think you go when you die, like what happens?"
Lucas, Kelly and I in near unison: "Nowhere. Nothing"
Me: "And I'm fine with that."
Kelly: "Remember when we had that philosophical discussion that one night?"
Me: "Yes! We realized that God is more of an idea. Each person has a different idea of what God is to them, so why can't God be a manifestation of that idea within that person? The idea of God is your soul."
I don't see God as this all-knowing, all-judging ephemeral being sitting on a cloud somewhere looking like a cross between Santa Claus, Albus Dumbledore, and Father Time.
Essentially 'God' is just a word. Just another notch in our universal lexicon, but it's the vastness behind it, the power that makes it truly God.
I see God as more of a scientific rather than a spiritual concept. God to me, is a powerful force of energy. The most powerful.
Maybe it's love.
God is everything and everywhere. God is you and God is me.
