Ashley: "Well, where do you think you go when you die, like what happens?" Lucas, Kelly and I in near unison: "Nowhere. Nothing" Me: "And I'm fine with that." Kelly: "Remember when we had that philosophical discussion that one night?" Me: "Yes! We realized that God is more of an idea. Each person has a different idea of what God is to them, so why can't God be a manifestation of that idea within that person? The idea of God is your soul." I don't see God as this all-knowing, all-judging ephemeral being sitting on a cloud somewhere looking like a cross between Santa Claus, Albus Dumbledore, and Father Time. Essentially 'God' is just a word. Just another notch in our universal lexicon, but it's the vastness behind it, the power that makes it truly God. I see God as more of a scientific rather than a spiritual concept. God to me, is a powerful force of energy. The most powerful. Maybe it's love. God is everything and everywhere. God is you and God is me. Current Mood: restless Current Music: Lunar Sea- Camera Obscura
